Smashing cookies.
I don’t really cook or make food things. I can cook, and I will cook on occasion. But I live alone and rarely have guests, so I find little reason to cook much at all. Unless I feel like eating the same dish for a week.
I was invited to a party, and it was requested that guests bring a dish to share in a potluck. I decided to make a cookie salad! I had only eaten it once before (and it was most delicious), and never made it. So I looked around online and found a recipe. Cue fun in the kitchen!

All of my ingredients, ready to go!

Cookies and a hammer. Time to smash!

Smashed cookies!

The finished Cookie Salad product. It looks a bit suspect, but take my word for it, it was most delicious. Here’s the recipe I used:
Vanilla instant pudding (omit milk)
2 c. buttermilk
1 (16 oz.) container of Cool Whip
2 med. size cans of mandarin oranges
4 bananas
1 (11 oz.) pkg. Keebler fudge striped cookiesMix pudding and buttermilk until well blended. Mix in entire container of Cool Whip. Then toss in 2 drained cans of mandarin oranges. Chill. Just before serving, slice bananas and crush cookies. Add to pudding mixture.
Crushing the cookies is, clearly, the funnest part. Besides eating it. Good luck not eating any of the cookies before they go into the salad. Yum yum!

Yummy, I will have to try this. Though with sugar-free items due to the fact I can’t stand sugared items. My mother has diabetes & I grew up eating sugar free items so I am used to eating them. Thanks.

Yum yum yum! Looks so good! I think I will definitely make this, ASAP! I need the pudding and cookies though heh. Plus the cookie crushing looks like good stress relief haha.
